Learning to Share

Sharing is a Learned Behavior
Teach your children to share.

As I've watched young children over the years it has become interesting to observe their willingness to share...or not. Fathers, it becomes more likely your child will model what they see you do..so model sharing!

They will more likely do what you intentionally and repeatedly reinforce during one of your "teaching moments." The next time you have an opportunity, praise your child for sharing. Try having a "stop-the-action" moment where you interrupt whatever is going on and thank your child for sharing.

Don't let positive behavior go unnoticed or unappreciated! Sharing is the foundation of all positive relationships.
